This CC Arban book works fine as written. Titles with metod bracketed numbers are assumed to use “Standard Instrumentation. It was probably assumed that most of the users of this rather expensive text would be “serious” players who were using a tuba pitched in C.
In reality, it’s just a plain ol’ tuba book, written like the majority of tuba music- at concert pitch.
